    The  10th  on 01/12/2018  hosted by BEFFTA Founder/President Dr Pauline Long.

    FabUK magazine’s CEO Cem Kaplan, FabUK Photographer Monika Schaible, FabUK Photographer Karlton Chambers, Miss FabUK Magazine and Model Misty Bailey were also awarded with BEFFTA.

    BEFFTA, which stands for (Black Entertainment Film Fashion Television and Arts awards) is Europe’s biggest and most prestigious award ceremony that celebrates the achievements of black and ethnic personalities in UK, USA, AFRICA, ASIA, EUROPE, CANADA, AUSTRALIA and CARIBBEAN globally in entertainment, film, fashion, television, arts, philanthropy, sports and leadership. Previous recipients of BEFFTA Special honorary awards include Sir Trevor McDonald OBE, Sir Lenny Henry CBE, Omotola Jelade Ekeinde, Quincy Jones, Tyler Perry, Diane Abbott, Lord John Bird and more.

    Philanthropist and entrepreneur Dr Pauline Long who is also the founder and president of BEFFTA awards marked the 10th BEFFTA London by donating £1k to Kevin Kararwa Leukaemia Trust, a charity that aims to create awareness about Leukaemia and other blood cancers.

    The prestigious award ceremony was a hugely successful night attended by hundreds of personalities from various sectors including film, fashion, television, arts, sports, leadership and philanthropy.

    As it was celebrated on 1st December during World AIDS Day, BEFFTA also supported and highlighted on the great work done by Terrence Higgins Trust, a charity that supports those living with HIV/AIDS. Dr Pauline Long said, “I’m a passionate supporter of humanity, I will put my name in anything that gives back. Today I’m proud to highlight the great work of these charities and honour them with BEFFTA Awards.”

    So far 137 personalities have been honoured at BEFFTA London in 2018 since October. In the next few weeks BEFFTA will be honouring more individuals in Birmingham, Glasgow, Cardiff and other cities at part of their 10th celebration. “BEFFTA loyal supporter Dr Dayo Olomu said, “BEFFTA award ceremony is the biggest award ceremony of it’s kind in UK and Europe, it’s greatly unique and despite the high number of guests attending and thousands being honoured with awards, it is heart-warming  to note that it’s a free event fully funded by one of the greatest selfless African humanitarians Dr Pauline Long.”

    In the past it has honoured and nominated thousands of deserving personalities from the African, Caribbean and Asian communities. In her speech at the 10th celebration, BEFFTA founder announced full inclusion and diversity moving forward. People of different nationalities, black or white are now being honoured at BEFFTA.

    Dr Pauline Long wore a dress exclusively designed for her by award-winning fashion label Desiri Couture.
