THURSDAY 29TH OCTOBER, 2022 – The British Fashion Council (BFC) is delighted to announce the schedule for A Celebration of London Fashion Week taking place from Thursday 6th to Thursday 13th October 2022. A curated programme of unique experiences, events and promotions, will celebrate creativity in London following a scaled back London Fashion Week (LFW) subsequent to the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Spearheaded by inclusivity and consciousness, our programme brings focus to London and moves the fashion conversation forward through industry wide participation and partnerships.

 

A Celebration of London Fashion Week presented by Clearpay will host exciting events including a party by BOSS. Richard Quinn will host a celebration of his SS23 collection in partnership with Clearpay, TikTok will host a celebration of BFC NEWGEN following the incredible collections showcased by this years cohort during LFW and TONI&GUY are relaunching their iconic label:m collection with an intimate cocktail party. The Institute of Positive Fashion will present an update to its Circular Fashion Ecosystem projects with panel discussions on City Level with Circle Economy, Empowering Citizens for Garment Longevity with Vanish and Solving Returns with DHL.

RAF SIMONS and ROKSANDA will present their seasonal collections, PRADA will celebrate the launch of its new feminine fragrance PARADOXE, Marc Jacobs opens a new store and AnOther Magazine will host a special evening for Björk powered by GUCCI.

A dynamic cultural hotspot and incubator of ideas and change, London will once again encourage participation and increase accessibility, inspiring diverse communities with evergreen content accessible online and in person. City Wide Celebration, open to the public, will offer over 450 events throughout the city in renowned shopping destinations including Chelsea (Cadogan Estate), Oxford Street (New West End Company), Covent Garden (CAPCO), and Regent Street (The Crown Estate). Activities include; designer Q&A sessions, workshops around Zero-Waste Craftsmanship and upcycling, live music performances and limited edition product drops in partnership with key retailers, cultural institutions and designer brands.

AllSaints have created a special limited-edition London Fashion Week capsule collection made up of exclusive pieces and one-of-a-kind designs. On the 6th October they will be hosting a launch event at the Regent Street store from 6-9pm, where you can shop the edit (first come first serve), watch live music as part of our LA Sessions project and get 20% off all day on the main collection in store.

A talented seamstress will be spending the day in the Brora London shops to show and teach how to stitch it… rather than ditch it, using her knowledge of colour and pattern to sensitively repair damaged clothing with unique darning that celebrates imperfections rather than hiding them.

In The Focus, Browns are spotlighting rising star of contemporary sculpture, Olivia Bax. The London-based artist presents ‘ensemble’, a selection of sculptures which showcase and complement Browns’ unrivalled London Fashion Week edit. Whilst in store, check out The Immersive Room, an ever-evolving space where artistic installations and sensory experiences take centre stage. Native At Browns will be serving up their award-winning menu in the restaurant, so book a table to experience ethical dining like no other.

Chelsea will be hosting ‘Designers at Work’ at the Saatchi Gallery, a market showcasing sustainable food pioneers and activations from businesses across the neighbourhood including Allbirds, Brora, Peter Jones, Monica Vinader, Rixo and The Fashion School.
