The Spring-Summer ’24 collection draws inspiration from the enchanting metamorphosis of butterflies, skilfully translating their graceful evolution into a mesmerizing sequence of garments. It is a couture and diffusion collection where each piece tells a compelling story of transformation, with the initial stages portrayed through subtle muted tones such as beige, green, mauve, and grey. As the narrative progresses, the collection bursts into life with a vibrant array of colours progressing from peaches to orange and blue, symbolizing the metamorphosis from caterpillar to the emergence of a beautiful butterfly.

The collection boasts silhouettes with exaggerated sleeves, shoulders, and high necks, featuring signature jackets embellished with sequins, French knots and leather accents. Sheer and flowy fabrics are artfully juxtaposed with leather to symbolize the transformation from cocoon to butterfly. The meticulous attention to detail is evident in the craftsmanship, showcased through delicate French knots, intricate machine embroidery, stunning digital printing, precise laser cutting, and more. Each stitch and fold invites the audience to witness the transformative journey brought to life in every garment. This collection invites you to immerse yourself in the profound beauty of evolution as the delicate creatures’ transformation unfolds in each exquisite piece.

The 20-year celebration and spring-summer showcase held on February 17th was an absolute must-attend affair. With the generous support of the Government of West Bengal, Abhishek Dutta orchestrated a groundbreaking event for the first time ever at the stunning Eiffel Tower in Eco Park. The evening commenced with a heartfelt toast, reminiscing on the two remarkable decades gone by and expressing gratitude to those who had stood by him throughout the journey.

Against the mesmerizing backdrop of the Eiffel Tower, the showcase unfolded into a breathtaking spectacle. Models descended from the tower’s top floor with effortless grace, each step showcasing the elegance and innovation of the new collection. It was also an honour to have Indian archer Deepika Kumari grace the ramp in our clothes as well. She is a three-time Olympian, two-time world championships medal winner, former world No. 1 and Arjuna awardee. She has carried India’s ambitions in recurve archery on the world stage for over a decade since she broke through the ranks in 2010 with a gold medal at the Delhi Commonwealth Games and a bronze at the Guangzhou Asian Games.

The event was more than just a celebration; it was a testament to Abhishek Dutta’s unwavering passion and dedication to his craft. It symbolized the fusion of art, fashion, and dreams, promising even greater achievements in the years to come.
