The new festival launches in London this month: About the Future 2018 is a business-focused festival of empowerment, featuring the specially curated line-up of 8 thought-provoking events to support, encourage, connect and inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs and self-starters in the UK. Speakers on the star-studded line-up include entrepreneurs, such as the founders of Rude Health, Pip and Nut, Livia’s Kitchen and Joe and Seph’s, life coaches, including Mel Wells, Jessica Huie MBE and Persia Lawson, and female entrepreneurs, including April Jackson, Hilary Rowland and Tamara Rajah.

About the Future is all about empowering the next generation of UK entrepreneurs, creatives and self-starters, in a real and tangible way. With 8 talks and 2 masterclasses, the special ‘how-to’ events will span a range of industries, including food, wellbeing, journalism and start-ups, and exclusive one-off masterclasses. Whether your readers want to build a brand, a business or a dream career, the festival will give them all the tools needed to make any career flourish.

The festival is the brainchild of young entrepreneurs Angelica Malin, 27, and Alicia Grimshaw, 26, Editors at About Time Magazine, one of London’s leading lifestyle sites and co-hosts of The AT podcast. This is more than just an event series; About the Future is a space to network, connect, share and learn from one another. Whether it’s launching a company, changing lanes in a career, starting the solo venture or they just want to be inspired by other entrepreneurs, this festival has it all.

Angelica Malin, founder of About Time Magazine and About The Future Festival says “We’ve been working tirelessly to come up with a smart, interesting and informative concept which will give any fledgeling entrepreneur a starters guide to getting their idea off the ground. Harnessing some of the most talented self-starters across a number of industries we can’t wait to show everyone their hidden potential. From brand building to journalism talks, we have something for everyone at this years About The Future Festival. Come and join us!”

Tickets range between £15-£25 and are available to purchase on Eventbrite
