Supermarket Aldi’s Specially Selected Sloe Gin Mince Tarts was named best in the world beating Fortnum and Mason‘s Traditional Mince Pies that retail at over five times the price!
This was amongst 51 product wins, which also saw the supermarket secure Meat Retailer of the Year at the Awards.
The supermarket was also the winner of 12 product awards thanks to the exceptional quality of their Christmas food, Aldi wowed the 400-strong judging panel of respected food and drink experts with their innovation, taste profiles and ingredient provenance.
