Our photographer was on the ground at London Fashion Week 2025, where Alisa Dudaj, one of fashion’s brightest emerging voices, unveiled her much-anticipated collection Silent Engravings.

Dudaj, a graduate of the prestigious Parsons School of Design in New York, has steadily built a reputation as a visionary of slow fashion. She first rose to prominence in 2022 after winning the Muza Competition—encouraged by celebrated photographer Fadil Berisha—with her debut collection Calidus. That minimalist yet intricately handcrafted line, created with Albanian artisans, showcased embroidery traditions from Gjirokastër and Shkodër while bringing them into a modern, global context.

Her ascent continued in February 2024 with Alpine Whispers at New York Fashion Week, a monochromatic exploration of Albanian folklore reimagined in satin and cashmere. The live runway presentation earned a standing ovation and coverage in leading fashion publications, including Vogue and Glamour. Dudaj’s work has also graced high-profile figures such as Tiffany Trump, reinforcing her global recognition.

At London Fashion Week, Dudaj’s Silent Engravings marked a new chapter in her creative journey. Inspired by her great-grandfather’s woodworking, the collection wove together tradition and contemporary design with striking elegance—earning her another wave of attention from the fashion world.

With each collection, Alisa Dudaj continues to position herself as a designer who not only preserves heritage but transforms it into a compelling narrative for the future of fashion.
