Spring Summer 18

Majtenyi‘s collection brings a softer approach to spring summer 18. Crafting pieces from rich satins in hues with a balance of rich and pastel blue’s. Touches of feminine black lace with hints of dark stormier palates show’s Andrew’s inspirations of 18th century ballet and theatre behind the collection. With fluid silhouettes and whimsically striped tulle hems brings a new aspect from Andrews traditional futuristic and abstract signature.

This season Andrew is inspired by the subtle geometrics seen in Brutalist Architecture modernize the traditional feel. The use of tulle references early 18th century love of the Ballet.

Andrew’s tradition of 19th century elements and futuristic detailing is still present through these wardrobe pieces including bold metallic detailing and strong cuts.

SS18 sees soft toned colour combinations compliment the colours and textures of the lush gardens. Layering and application of decorative surface textures add depth. Combinations of woven and stretch fabrics provide comfort & ease.

“The sun has finally come out and warmth is in the air. Soon the privileged members of the 18th century Court will enjoy an elegant garden party at Versailles.”
