Apujan Premiered his SS23 LFW Catwalk and film “Fantasy Hotel in the Sky,” today with the British Fashion Council for London Fashion Week.
APUJAN’s new SS23 Film “Fantasy Hotel in the Sky” combines a fashion show with a drama, starring actors Wilson Hsu, Josie Lin, Rakuten Girls’ Chen, Yi-Jui and Golden Horse Award winner Mo Tzu-Yi. Special guests include blind pianist Huang Yu-Siang and DJ So Lonely, who are also invited to illustrate this brand-new theme.
Apu Jan is well known for using literary allusions, reinterpreted the codes of a modern fairy tale and created though the collection a storytelling about APUJAN’s fantasy imaginary: another story about dreams, about community information, and about the overhead world.
APUJAN’s previous fashion shows have paid tribute to classic mystery and detective novels. This season, in addition to the detective theme, the influence of the oriental classic “Journey to the West” can also be seen in the characters and accessories.
Apujan who likes to study history and literature, has always combine elements of traditional oriental clothing with western clothing style as his inspiration of design.
Furthermore, Apujan uses a lot of fabric technology in designing his fashion pieces, and develop a variety of different jacquard fabrics, computer sewing, automatic knitting machines, and custom development of bottom and labels in every season.
More than 30 sets of new clothing items are featured in this video, including a variety of knitted sweaters, suits, dresses, uniforms, printed shirts, gowns and other styles, with accessories such as printed backpacks, knitted bags in the shape of gourds an dinosaur tails, and 3D printed masks, knitted monkeys, face-masks and hats, which demonstrate the diversity of the brand.
