London, 17 August 2026 — Ariana Grande has made a triumphant return to the UK stage, opening the London leg of her highly anticipated The Eternal Sunshine Tour with two sold-out performances at The O2.

The three-time GRAMMY Award winner is performing 10 dates at the London venue, marking her first UK shows in seven years. The run follows the success of her latest album, petal, which reached No. 1 on both the UK Official Albums Chart and the US Billboard 200, giving Grande her sixth UK chart-topping album and seventh US No. 1.
Grande opened the first show with the dancefloor-ready “yes, and?” before moving through a career-spanning set featuring fan favourites including “positions,” “thank u, next,” “7 rings,” “Dangerous Woman,” “Break Free,” “Into You” and “we can’t be friends (wait for your love).”
The opening-night set also featured the live debuts of “kiss me” and “bad thing (bunny hop)” from petal.

Performing to approximately 20,000 fans, Grande shared her appreciation for the London audience, saying: “Out of every show, this is the loudest. Thank you. I feel like there is so much love in this room right now… London, I love you so much!”
Sunday night’s performance delivered another major surprise when Cynthia Erivo joined Grande on stage for a special duet of “For Good” and “Happy Days Are Ahead”, adding a memorable theatrical moment to the final act.
A Cinematic Pop Spectacle
Produced by Live Nation, The Eternal Sunshine Tour has already earned critical acclaim across North America for its combination of Grande’s powerful live vocals, elaborate staging and cinematic storytelling.
Working alongside longtime collaborator and tour director Christian Breslauer, Grande has divided the production into five distinct acts. The visual concept draws heavily from the world created for her Brighter Days Ahead short film, in which Grande portrays Peaches, a character seeking to erase painful memories from her past.
The result is a theatrical production that combines large-scale pop spectacle with more intimate moments between Grande and her audience. She is joined on stage by a 12-member dance crew and live band, further expanding the show’s musical and visual scale.
Fashion also plays a central role in the production. Grande reunited with stylist Law Roach to create six distinctive stage looks, featuring custom designs from Alexander McQueen, Vivienne Westwood, Wiederhoeft and Ludovic de Saint Sernin, alongside two Givenchy looks created by Sarah Burton.
Five-Star Reception
The London performances have received an enthusiastic response from critics, with several major publications awarding the show five-star reviews.
Metro praised Grande’s live vocals, describing the experience as delivering “full body chills”, while The Times called the performance “two relentless hours of impossible highs” from “one of pop’s most formidable vocalists.”
The Telegraph similarly awarded five stars, praising the “power, clarity and agility” of Grande’s vocals. NME hailed her as a “pop conceptualist”, highlighting the production’s combination of polished pop hits, deeper cuts and “showstopping vocals”.
BBC also singled out Grande’s extraordinary vocal ability, noting riffs of such scale that they appeared almost otherworldly.
