London Fashion Week shone a little brighter as Ashish Gupta unveiled his Spring/Summer 2026 collection, giving audiences a first glimpse of his highly anticipated collaboration with Debenhams.
First launched in the 1990s, Designers at Debenhams was a groundbreaking concept that brought high-end designers to the high street. Now, the initiative is making a bold comeback – and Ashish is at the heart of its revival. His new collection, set to launch next month, promises faux fur, kaleidoscope prints, sequins, and fine knits, staying true to his signature glamour-meets-fun aesthetic.
On the runway, Ashish previewed a handful of standout pieces: a giant sequin-embellished mini dress paired with a faux fur coat, a fine-knit printed jumper with a hint of lurex sparkle, a multicolour airbrush-effect faux fur coat, and a sequin print skirt that epitomised his playful yet refined approach to fashion.
Sequins, shimmer, and unapologetic vibrancy remain at the heart of Ashish’s DNA, but this collection also underscores a fresh chapter – bringing couture-inspired creativity back to the everyday wardrobe through his collaboration with Debenhams.
With every glittering detail captured through the lens of Matt Draper, Ashish’s SS25 show was both a celebration of nostalgia and a preview of what’s next: a joyful, accessible, and stylish return of Designers at Debenhams.
