The Cannes Film Festival is pleased to announce that it will share its Opening event with cinema-goers again this year. Both Opening ceremony and film will be broadcast live in hundreds of French cinemas, an initiative of the Festival de Cannes, together with France Télévisions, FNCF (Fédération Nationale des Cinémas Français) and CNC (Centre National du Cinéma), with the friendly support of AFCAE (Association Française des Cinémas d’Art et d’Essai).
