Notting Hill Carnival has taken place annually on the streets in the Notting Hill area of Kensington since 1966. The event, which is led mainly by members of the British West Indian community, draws in around one million people each year. With such popularity and status in London’s annual event calander, it has become one of the worlds largest street festivals and forms a significant part of British Culture.

Bacchanalia has been creating costumes and partaking in Notting Hill Carnival for 14 YEARS!!!! Their 2019 showcase ALPHA represents a unique species, born to lead, never to follow and ANKA a wild creature born from the lava of hell with tears from the heavens. They are predators by nature but have a fierce loyal bond with a chosen one – through life, death and the beyond.
