On Thursday 21st June, Badoo, the dating app that’s all about getting you real-life dates, not just matches, will host a marathon day of dating for love hungry Londoners, designed to help romance blossom on the longest day of the year. From dawn to dusk couples will be given a rest from swiping online and invited on a romantic real date in the sunshine. Couples will be treated to a series of playful dating experiences designed to loosen inhibitions, build trust and get temperatures rising.

For early risers, the day will kick-start at 4 am with a singles sunrise champagne breakfast, hosted at Sushi Samba. Celeb love guru Tom Read Wilson (Celebs Go Dating) will be on hand offering love advice and expert tips throughout the day. Lovestruck couples will get the chance to take in spectacular city views from the 38th floor as the sun comes up, and get to know each other for real over bubbles and bacon.

Those who prefer a more leisurely start can book a 1.5-hour date and join in the flirtatious fun at an all-day picnic within Shoreditch Gardens. Badoo promises to take the stress out of swiping by matching couples ahead of time to soften first date jitters. Couples will be allocated their very own picnic blanket and ice-breaker hamper, filled with sharing food, refreshments and everything couples need to get tongues wagging to build genuine connections.

To ensure a date with a difference, companionship will be put to the test via a series of sizzling experiences including an up close and personal Jiu Jitsu couple’s masterclass, a sensual wet clay pottery class set to the romantic hit ‘Unchained Melody’ and with food being the route to many people’s hearts, a tantalising spaghetti making experience.

The longest date of the year will close with a sundowners singles garden party, offering food and drink, hosted by Laura Whitmore.
