Rebellious teenager Becky (Lulu Wilson) and her father Jeff (Joel McHale) head for a weekend getaway at a lake house in an effort to reconnect after the passing of Lulu’s mother. At the lake house, Jeff tells Lulu that he and his new girlfriend Kayla (Amanda Brugel) are going to get married.

Lulu does not take this to well and absconds from the house. Meanwhile, a group of escaped convicts, led by the murderous Dominick (Kevin James – from the television show ‘King of Queens’), take the family hostage. But they haven’t reckoned on the rage and resourcefulness of Becky – she will fight to the death to save her father.

Slickly and smartly directed by Jonathan Milott and Cary Murnion (the duo behind cult horror comedy ‘Cooties’ this film – a cross between ‘Home Alone’ and ‘Last House on the Left’ features a fantastic lead performance from Wilson, as well as from James in a role so unlike you’ve ever seen him play before. ‘Becky,’ while at times a bit unbelievable with the convicts acting as stupid as they look, is a nail-biting film and trip that you definitely don’t want to miss.
