Jain With “The Fool” Concert halls are full

Eight years ago, the UK caught on to the French born synth-playing singer Jain with her then debut album « Zanaka » which was released in 2015. Her distinctive sound combined with urban type immediately earned world acclaim for her vibrant multicultural style, including hits like “Come” and “Makeba” which was a tribute to the legendary South-African singer Myriam Makeba.  The album sold over 1 million copies worldwide.

Her second album, titled « Souldier » (2018) shook the landscape of French pop. Jain is influenced by the many trips she did as a child with her father notably in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Congo.  After Afrobeats, the second album was more inspired by Arabic rhythms.

With her third music venture  called “The Fool” (2023) , Jain still spreads good vibes through her colorful and upbeat universe, conveying positive images and messages. Such an energetic young woman ; you will have no other choice but…to clap your hands and move your feet ! Jain started touring through festivals during the summer and is going on now in big French cities (including Paris on 23 November). I attended her stunning show. I definitely could not miss it ! No need to say that the show was exhilarating through new songs which draw on artistic influences like Kate Bush and Stevie Nicks; this combines several genres so whether you are into hip hop, electro or at times reggae, you will love the show.

Jain is scheduled in Brussels on 13 Dec and Geneva on 5 Dec.
