When his mother, Rita (Saoirse Ronan), sends him to the safety of the English countryside, George defies her wishes, determined to return to East London to be with his mom and his grandfather, Gerald (Paul Weller). His journey quickly turns perilous, while a heartbroken Rita desperately searches for her missing son, setting the stage for an emotional and suspenseful tale of survival and family.
