A Free Interactive Light Show Lands at Bristol’s ‘The Square’

From Burning Man to Bristol, Submergence is running until December 30th

Created by Squidsoup and funded by Pure Spaces, Submergence is a large, immersive, walkthrough experience that consists primarily of a large walkthrough array of individually controllable LEDs. The piece uses many thousands of individual points of suspended light to create feelings of presence and movement within physical space.
Jon Ojo of The Square says “We couldn’t be happier to add Submergence to the long list of things to do at The Square. The free light show is sure to draw people’s attention and add a completely unique addition for us and Bristol as a city. I can’t wait for it to be set up and see what it looks like. The added color and fun it will bring is priceless”
Visitors are encouraged to enter the piece as it’s best viewed from within. Ocean of Light installations transform physical space into a hybrid environment where virtual and physical worlds coincide.
