Pancake Day (13 February 2018) often makes you think of lemon and sugar.  But why not try something a little different this Shrove Tuesday at Bang Bang Oriental and Golden Dragon in Colindale.

Vanilla Crêpe at Monster Bites (£4.50)

Offering a variety of different Asian desserts including pancakes, waffles, rainbow cake and ice-cream, Monster Bites is sure to have something to satisfy any sweet tooth. The Vanilla Crêpe will no doubt be especially popular on Pancake Day. Vanilla Crepe Monster Bites

Bubble Wraps at Chatime (from £3.95)

Chatime’s Bubble Wraps are available in Matcha, Chocolate and Plain, along with a variety of ice creams and toppings. It’s often hard to take the perfect photo of your pancake, but luckily Bubble Wraps have taken Instagram by storm so you will be the envy of your followers on 13 February.

Haemul Pajeon at Janchi Korean Kitchen (£8.50)

To experience some authentic Korean cuisine, try the Haemul Pajeon, a savoury pancake with chopped seafood and spring onions, served with soy sauce.  In Korean ‘Janchi’ means ‘Feast’ or ‘Party’ so enjoy some Seoul spirit this Shrove Tuesday at Janchi Korean Kitchen.
