Celebrity fashion designer, Michael Lombard, continues to wow audiences worldwide with his extravagant displays of creativity and fashion. This time, Lombard revved it up on the runway, quite literally, with his one-of-a-kind show at Gurugram International Couture Week in India.

Lombard was the grand finale of day two at couture fashion week and closed the show the only way he knows how – in jaw-dropping style. The fierce models showed off their garments from the back of Harley Davidson motorcycles, revving the engines up into a roar before strutting their stuff on the runway.

Michael Lombard is known as the King of Leather, so it’s only right for this iconic material to be paired with a cavalry of motorbikes. Michael Lombard and Harley Davidson are two brands that encompass badass behaviour and possess an unapologetic ability to be authentic, so their collaboration is, quite simply, a match made in heaven.

The Gurugram International Couture Week aims to promote international and national designers from across the world. Michael Lombard and Shamkhan, the show director, pulled off a theatrical masterpiece that audience members will remember with vigour.

Models sported head to toe looks from Lombard’s latest collection, the ML ARMY. These warriors represented the brand in true Lombard style, with studded leather biker shorts, cropped jackets, and edgy boots. In this collection, Michael pays homage to his true sense of style with clean lines, stunning leather ensembles, and rebellious silhouettes.

The entire show was electric and fast-paced. After the iconic sounds of motorbikes revving, upbeat electronic music began to play, and the models fully embodied what it means to be a warrior in the Michael Lombard Army.

Michael Lombard continues to rise to the top. After this iconic runway show at Gurugram International Couture Week in India, one can only question what is next in store for the established celebrity fashion designer. His experimental and innovative way of thinking did not go unnoticed at Gurugram International Couture Week.

What is for certain is that members of the fashion community and fans alike cannot wait for the opening of his first physical store in no other place than the world’s largest and most luxurious mall: Dubai Mall. His brand will stand proudly in Fashion Avenue next to other iconic names such as Off-White, Balenciaga, Louis Vuitton, and YSL.
