Famous British actors Celia Imrie and Jason Isaacs will receive the Raindance Icon Award 2025 at the Raindance Film Festival, which runs from June 18 to 27 in London.
They will be honored at the Opening Gala on June 18, during the world premiere of the film Heavyweight. The movie stars Nicholas Pinnock, Jordan Bolger, and Jason Isaacs, and tells the intense story of a boxer named Derek Douglas facing a big fight he doesn’t think he can win.
Festival founder Elliot Grove said, “Celia and Jason have had amazing careers and support independent films in the UK and around the world. We’re proud to celebrate them.”
