Dance legends Chase & Status brought the Saturday night party to London’s essential festival, All Points East, with help from special guests Tom Grennan, IRAH, Flowdan and Trigga.

Pounding beats filled Victoria Park throughout the day as the country’s finest DJs and MCs faced off in exclusive back-to-backs including Sherelle B2B Clipz and Dwarde B2B Tim Reaper.
Among the celebrities enjoying the day, actor Asa Butterfield, British rising club-pop star Samira, presenter Snoochie Shy, ‘Patience’ star Ella Maisy Purvis and Indira Varma from ‘Game of Thrones’.
With Chase & Status, Will Kennard and Saul Milton have been a dominant force in British electronic music for more than a decade, blending elements of drum and bass, dubstep, grime, and hip-hop.
The night saw star collaborator Tom Grennan make an East London appearance for their classic collaboration ‘All Goes Wrong’.
IRAH, Flowdan and Trigga – regulars in the Chase & Status world – put in turns, including an extended version of the massive 2023 hit ‘Baddadan’ (“London, let’s do this one proper”) and Chase & Status’ latest colossal hit ‘BACKBONE’ feat. Stormzy.
A massive ‘Selecta’ launched East London’s biggest dancefloor for the night, lasers and pyrotechnics flooding a night sky hammered by tunes like ‘Machine Gun’.
“It’s a beautiful thing, this music, this culture that brings us together. Make some f***ing noise for yourselves,” says regular MC Takura before ‘Take Me Away’.
“You ain’t got a ‘Backbone’” is a mantra for the crowd as flames shoot skywards, and ‘Gunfinger (Salute)’ roars across the field from Takura, Trigga and Irah.
Then there was a showstopper with Grennan careening up and down the stage during ‘All Goes Wrong’. “Make some noise for Chase & Status,” he shouts as he exits to fireworks.
The crowd needed no telling but as the night drew to a close, Takura gave a call to action: “Lose your f***ing shit. I want to see mayhem, I want to see carnage. London, bring the fucking chaos.”
Earlier on the East Stage, Overmono welcomed Kwengface for their collaboration ‘Freedom 2’, while Hamdi welcomed the crowd to his party on the West Stage: “I’m about to play some sick music for you. Yo, does anyone here like dubstep?”
In the late afternoon the sounds of Dimension thundered from the East Stage, with pyrotechnics bringing the heat to a wild crowd. Choice cuts included Darude’s ‘Sandstorm’.
Elsewhere, partygoers were treated to massive sets from the likes of Joy Orbison and Nia Archives
