Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, The Coach Makers Arms will offer something for everyone from the early birds right through to the night owls. Serving the group’s largest selection of lager, ales and craft beer both on tap and in bottle with a regularly changing guest beers on tap, wines, spirits and cocktails.

The food menu at The Coach Makers Arms will carry on the Cubitt House tradition of seasonal British produce, offering a selection of daily specials displayed on blackboards. Like all Cubitt House venues, the head chef at The Coach Makers Arms will work with some of the country’s most reputable suppliers, including Trecorras Farm, Lyme Bay fish reserve and Lyons Hill Farm and cure their own meats in house, ensuring minimal food wastage and a genuine farm to plate ethos.

The new design of The Coach Makers Arms has been carefully executed to be sympathetic to the original architecture of this grand corner building. There are three beautiful and individual bars, one on each floor. All three spaces have been transformed by leading interior design agency Coriander Buildings – who have designed fashionable London haunts including Disrepute, Rum Kitchen, Riding House Café amongst others – maintaining unique original features with the addition of clever layout changes and soft furnishings.

The impressive ground floor will feature a bespoke handmade wooden bar with burnished metal back displaying an array of spirits and wines. Natural light will flood in through vast windows with original, antique coach lights and ornate tiles.

The bright, airy and relaxed first-floor dining room will comfortably seat 50 diners, maintaining many original features with a contemporary twist to bring it in line with Cubit House’s definitive design. Bespoke leather banquette seating, will be overlooked by portraits of Coachmakers from yesteryear.

In addition to the impressive ground floor bar and elegant first floor dining room, there will also be ‘The 72’, an impressive underground cocktail bar, named after The Worshipful Company of Coachmakers and Coach Harness Makers, which is the 72nd Livery Company of The City of London. This vaulted space will offer a more intimate bar area, perhaps for an aperitif or private party. Featuring an exquisite hand carved wooden bar, serving a carefully curated cocktail menu, highlights include the ‘Spicy Coach’ made with Olmeca Altos Plata Tequila, Manzana Verde, lime juice and green jalapenos, and a ‘Hot G&T’ with Sipsmith Gin, tonic syrup and hot water.
