Disney’s beloved animated film Lilo & Stitch is getting a fresh, live-action reimagining, set to hit UK cinemas on 21st May 2025. The remake brings a heartwarming and humorous twist to the original 2002 classic, telling the touching story of a lonely Hawaiian girl and her unlikely friendship with a mischievous alien fugitive.
Directed by Oscar®-nominated filmmaker Dean Fleischer Camp (Marcel the Shell with Shoes On), the new adaptation stars Maia Kealoha as Lilo, alongside Sydney Elizabeth Agudong, Billy Magnussen, Tia Carrere, Hannah Waddingham, Chris Sanders, Courtney B. Vance, and Zach Galifianakis.
The film is produced by Jonathan Eirich and Dan Lin, with Tom Peitzman and Ryan Halprin serving as executive producers.
