DJ Zel (Zelda Nana Yaa Manteaw) is an award-winning DJ and Youth Resident DJ for International World Peace Initiative. She is also a model, dancer and singer  DJ Zel started her career in 2018. She trained at Westminster SubBass Academy, London Sounds Academy and continues to perfect her skills at On the Rise DJ Academy. She is also an 11-year-old philanthropist who lives in Newham, the  second poorest borough in England. Half of the children in her community, including most of her friends, live in poverty. DJ Zel is on a mission to use her platform to address challenges faced by children, young people and families in her community.

DJ Zel’s 11 for 11 campaign was launched in February 2021 at www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding  to raise £11,000 to end food and education poverty, and inequality in Newham, and some of the poorest communities in UK and Ghana.

Philanthropic work She supported Apam orphanage home and Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital – Children Surgical Ward in Ghana in 2019. DJ Zel has won many awards, plays various genres of music, including afrobeat, R&B, Pop, Hip-hop, Gospel and many more. DJ Zel has performed both nationally and internationally. She has also been hired to play for various parties and events for example; Ghana Youth Day UK, Miss Ghana UK, Elements of Couture Fashion Week Birmingham, Ghana Music Awards UK, Ghana Music and Arts Award Europe, Nollywood Entertainment Leadership Awards, Mini Mode Kids Fashion Week and International Women’s Day. In July 2019, she was also invited to Ghana to perform at National Theatre and African Update International Magazine and Legacy Centre Awards.
