Teaming up with Afropop King, Davido, UK hitmaker Don EE reveals brand new single ‘Love Coming Down’.
An instant hit in the making, the production courtesy of ATG Music, APmg and rocketbeats brings out a softer side to the rapper who plays with melodies and his vocal capabilities in this ode to falling in love. The stripped back, percussive instrumental rings out with island vibes as dashes of steelpans beam through alongside the accented vocals of both Don EE and Davido, which tease the track in to the Afropop world.
Having created an impressive foundation for his music in a short space of time, initiated by the release of his anthem ‘You Alright Yeah’, which has since gone on to stream over 13 million times and feature on Beyonce’s Instagram, Don EE has been in high demand both with fans and fellow artists. He has collaborated with Mabel, Kojo Funds, Big Tobz and Donae’O but his latest venture sees the most anticipated collaboration to date as he takes things international with Davido.
With over 7 million Instagram followers and monthly streams on Spotify of 1.2 million per month, Davido is highly regarded as the King of Afropop. He has recently been connected to Migos member Quavo’s upcoming solo album after Quavo teased fans with his feature list via Instagram so this move from Don EE is looking like yet another trend setting move for the rapper.
