    Mercury Classics Soundtrack & Score release the original score for Apple Original drama series “Extrapolations,” by Dan Romer, Jason Hill and David Wingo. Included alongside the score are three special covers from Ben Harper, Rufus Wainwright & Ryoko & The Earl and Zager & Evans’ 1969 hit In the Year 2525, listen here. “Extrapolations” is now streaming globally on Apple TV+.

    EXTRAPOLATIONS THE ORIGINAL SCORE BY DAN ROMER JASON HILL AND DAVID WINGO FOR APPLE TV ORIGINAL SERIES CREATED BY SCOTT Z. BURNS

    Dan Romer, Jason Hill, and David Wingo each bring their own unique perspective to the score, guiding the listener through the gripping story with futuristic, ambient soundscapes, highly emotive piano-lead moments and thrilling orchestral crescendos. In addition to the score are three covers; singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Ben Harper performs Marvin Gaye’s 1971 track Mercy Mercy Me (The Ecology), singer, songwriter, and composer Rufus Wainwright presents Jerry Herman‘s 1969 song Dear World, from the musical of the same name and Ryoko & The Earl take on Louis Armstrong’s iconic 1967 hit What a Wonderful World. Also featured are rock band Portugal. The Man with their 2013 track Waves and 60’s rock-pop duo Zager & Evans with their 1969 hit In the Year 2525.

    “Extrapolations” is a bracing drama that introduces a near future where the chaotic effects of climate change have become embedded into our everyday lives. Eight interwoven stories about love, work, faith and family from across the globe that explores the intimate, life-altering choices that must be made when the planet is changing faster than the population. Every story is different, but the fight for our future is universal. Are we brave enough to become the solution to our own undoing before it is too late? “Extrapolations” stars Sienna Miller, Kit Harington, Daveed Diggs, Matthew Rhys, and Ben Harper, among many others in the ensemble cast. The series is created and executive produced by Scott Z. Burns, and executive produced by Michael Ellenberg, Gregory Jacobs, Dorothy Fortenberry and Media Res’ Lindsey Springer and available to watch now on Apple TV+.
