Fashion Award “Città dei Sassi”

June 10, 2017 is going to take place the Fashion Award “Città dei Sassi” International Competition for Designers now at its 9th Edition and which this year celebrates the event through the theme “fashion, elegance and creativity.”
The award is a competition of high fashion designers created to promote artisans and professionals of fashion specialized in total look women from all over the world, taking part in the event to highlight their artistic talents and be known throughout the media to an international audience thanks to the presence of representatives of fashion , of the press, television networks and the public.
The competition aims to select and reward creators and fashion designers to promote and enhance their talent through the presentation of original creations of Haute-Couture on the catwalk in the city of Matera – UNESCO World Heritage from 1993 and designated as European Capital of Culture in 2019.
Can take part in the competition:
graduates of academies, universities and / or state and private schools, professional designers, fashion designers, model makers, professionals and self-taught fashion creators.
Will be awarded the following prizes :
Fashion Award “Città dei Sassi” (“City of Stones”) – Fashion Award at the Cinema (dedicated to the actress Ingrid Bergman, icon of cinema and style to the world) – Critics Award – Fashion Award” Matera 2019″ – Fashion Award Serikos.
Later, at the end of the terms of registration (February 21, 2017 ) a jury, specifically appointed, will decide the eight finalists designers that will have the opportunity to present a collection of fashion creations, specifically of High Fashion , sections Clothing and Accessories.
On the evening of the event, in front of a special jury composed of experts and representatives from the world of Italian fashion, local entrepreneurs and trade associations, side by side with a jury composed of representatives of the press, the designers will have the opportunity to propose their own original creations in the charming City of Stones.
At the end of the Award, the night will continue on the website www.premiomoda.it through a virtual showcase of “Fashion Award” to revive not only the evening, but also the charm of the City of Stones (Matera – “Citta dei Sassi” ).
Thanks to the event the www.premiomoda.it website registered a yearly average attendance of about 180 thousand accesses around the world. This success is to be found into increasing efforts to improve the event by the organizers; those are increasingly appreciated by the specialized press.
The Fashion Award in 2017 will show the presence of numerous personalities from the institutional world, journalism, television and cinema. In this regard, the organizers have started important collaborations with designers and celebrities of the Italian scene whose names will be made public at the press conference that will take place during the month of June 2017.
The knowledge of having such as a frame for the event, a location of high cultural level such as Matera, strengthens the big attraction the Fashion Award has got on the insiders; an event sponsored by nine consecutive years in the City of Stones (Matera – “Citta dei Sassi” – Italy ), from “Publimusic.com” of Matera in collaboration with the Cultural Association “Officina della Cultura”.
