London Scottish House saw a great evening that brought together the worlds of fashion, luxury motor vehicles and gourmet food in a dazzling event that entertained a diverse range of guests.


The event was organised by Scuderia Ferrari Club London, Silk Road Fashion London and Club Epicure International. Guests were entranced by a great fashion show and provided with lots of complimentary fine food and wine from the team of Celebrity Chef Aldo Venturi and sponsors of assorted selected Italian wines. It was also an evening of live music and dance.

The evening concluded with an Awards Ceremony for 14 nominations for outstanding professionals. The event attracted a wide range of guests from London’s social scene, including representatives from the embassies of Italy, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan.

Scuderia Ferrari Club London is part of a network of more than 200 Clubs across 20 countries officially recognised by Scuderia Ferrari Club Scarl, a company founded by Ferrari S.p.A. to coordinate the activities of the Scuderia’s many Tifosi (Ferrari fans), which had formed clubs around the world. The Club organisers many different types of events.

Silk Road Fashion London aims to show the change of culture through fashion in the countries of the historic Silk Route. Silk Road Fashion London works to bring designers from different countries together in fashion shows in London to celebrate their innovations and creativity. Silk Road Fashion in London has organised number of successful fashion shows, fashion parties, pop-up shops and other fashion-related events. Its concept is to allow designers and buyers in the UK to experience new creations and provide opportunities for new contacts and business relationships.

Club Epicure International is an exclusive organisation that aims to give its members the opportunity to know and experience the best of the current wine and food world, whether it is luxury goods and services that produce of excellence and niche. All this in an aura of prestige, sophistication and gastronomic and cultural exclusivity and, at the same time, amiability and cordiality.

The fashion show, organised byAlma Farmer, CEO of Silk Road Fashion London, was enriched by musical pieces from the opera singer Romeo Levani, accompanied by Thomas Sikharulidze.Romeo is originally from Georgia and is accomplished in different styles such as Jazz, Samba, Bossa Nova, Soul, Funk and Pop. He has performed in places such as; Queen Elizabeth Hall, Purcell Room, British youth opera, House Lords of Parliament, Edinburgh festivals, and elsewhere in the UK and around the world. The catwalk also included an exhibition from the ballerina Claire Guntip.

The fashion show successfully showcased six designers from European and Asian countries. The designers showcased on the catwalk were:

Hespera Couture opened the catwalk. Hespera Couture was founded by Petya Angelova who has worked closely with designers such as Christopher Reaburn, Viviane Westwood, Christopher Kane and Stella McCartney. Hespera’s desgins are made with the highest quality fabrics and, with distinct and precise workmanship, they capture the most demanding expectations. The Hespera line combines elegant, casual and comfortable wear, while reflecting on the sensitivity of the female form.

JAL Fashion UK, by designer Chirawan Lewis from Thailand, presented its new collection – “Angel”. Since 2013 Chirawan Lewis has promoted the colours and traditions of Thailand through her stunning designs, encapsulating the beauty and splendour of the country. Keeping its traditions alive through her unique collections. Her creations are flawless pieces that can be worn for special and important occasions.

The Angel collection is unique in that it encapsulates a natural product from Thailand, rubber, from its famous rubber plantations. The incredible and meticulous detail is reflected in the intricacy of theses designs, creating beautiful pieces of “Wearable Art”, in a true artisan design. This stunning collection helps to promote the versatility and different uses of rubber, and draws awareness to natural products.

JAL has been showcased around the world, on TV, in Magazines and newspapers including social media platforms and has received three ASEAN Awards. Chirawan also recently won the prestigious International Achievers Award for best Female Designer, and won Global Designer 2018.

The brand AssylMura by designer Elvira Nurlan (Elvira Kazhytayeva) from Kazakhstan. This collection of bright clothes pleases the eye with its combination of modern style and national motifs: making it look effortlessly organic and stylish. The eco-friendly clothing is all made from natural materials, as wool and silk and are handmade by craftsmen. No machinery and energy are used for production.

 

Aristocracy London is a luxury brand by founder and CEO Laz Tyrekidis dedicated to the pursuits of the modern gentleman; a man who likes to look sharp, unique and suitably attired at all times. The brand creates limited edition and personalised three-piece suits that stand out for their timeless elegance, sophisticated details and exquisite craftsmanship.

Oksana Kalinina, who offers a bespoke, made-to-measure ladies wear service. Her pieces are known for their individuality for those who want to feel special, interesting and at the same time unique. Her designs mixing classic cuts with quality fabrics and her aim is to help express the harmony between external and internal beauty in every person.

BELZEBOUTIK by designer and stylist Diana Miculit from Romania and Liliana her best friend for more than 20 years. Diana Miculit is a complete artist, mustering a wide range of artistic skills such as drawing, painting on silk, embroidery on silk and other fabrics, handmade 3D effects, leather applications, etc..  BELZEBOUTIK is organizing events in Paris (where the main office/showroom is located), London, Moscow and hopefully, very soon New York and other exotic and original destinations. All the Outfits created by Diana are Unique, Handmade and from Natural fabrics only: Silk, Leather, Cashmere and Wool.

At the end of the acclaimed fashion show, guests enjoyed a great buffet of Italian delicacies prepared by the Celebrity Executive Chef Aldo Venturi and the My Home Chef team of private chefs, thanks to the support of several sponsors, including Surgital, Green Monkey, La Latteria, Perollo for the food and Agricola Montespada with its Rosso Veronese Barricato and Vermentino Giunchizza for the wine and Wenlock Springs for the mineral water.

After a performance of the jazz singer Viviana Zarbo, the SFC London Award Ceremony took place. Alma Farmer founder of Silk Road Fashion London and Michela Sola, President of Scuderia Ferrari Club London gave a total of 14 awards to professionals of different areas for their outstanding achievements.

This special event is organised by Scuderia Ferrari Club London, in partnership with Silk Road Fashion London and Club Epicure International.It will be an evening of motors, fashion, speciality food, drinks, glamour, music and awards.

At the end of the Award Ceremony, Gianni Ferrari of Scuderia Ferrari Club London thanked all the sponsors of the event, included FABUK, the media partner of the event and the team of Chefssupervised by Aldo Venturi, to whom was given a special certificate of appreciation. Also, Roger Castano, well-known crown designer and sponsor crowned three ladies of the evening: the presenter of the event Ms Rose Wilson, awarded designer Ms Venera Tabakin, as well as the model and the ‘Face of the Silk Road Fashion’, Milena Tazhenova.

The evening finished with the tasting of delicious typical Italian Christmas cakes (panettone, pandori and fugassa) offered by Pasticceria Fraccaro and toasting with Franciacorta Metodo Classico offered by Castello Bonomi, liquors and exclusive coffee by Liola’ Caffe’.
