The Chinese Cultural Center in Paris is organizing the first edition of the “Festival mode et culture sino-français”, to create a link between Chinese and French fashion culture. The aim of the event is to build a new platform for exchange between Chinese-French fashion brands, in the continuity of a new distribution engine for designers from both countries.

The “Festival mode et culture sino-français” will feature a grand inaugural fashion show on the theme of “Prince Gong’s Palace”, revealing some thirty-five haute couture ensembles co-signed by Prince Gong’s Palace and international fashion designer Laurence Xu. The common thread running through the show is the subtle ingenuity of traditional techniques, allowing the world to perceive the “elegant and refined life” of Chinese tradition.

Subsequent shows will initiate a dialogue on Chinese-French fashion trends, allowing the public to appreciate the masterpieces of art and fashion from both countries.

Running from October 2 to 8 at 1 Boulevard de la Tour-Maubourg in the 7th arrondissement of Paris, the festival will feature 12 events, including fashion shows (Palais du Prince Kung – Laurence Xu, Meta, D. Martina. Queen, Nunu & Nono, Gong Qing Cheng and ODI), 3 presentations (Koradior, Raxxy and Loolayy), as well as conferences and afterparties.
