Tom Cruise proves that he is the biggest star in the world, and perhaps the biggest star ever. After last year’s very successful Top Gun: Maverick, which grossed an astounding $1.5 billion worldwide, Cruise looks to top this with his newest film in the Mission Impossible franchise. Yes, you read the title correctly, this is Part 1, which leaves a cliffhanger at the very end of a long film (2 hours and 43 minutes) for Part 2. You’ll need to suspend disbelief as Tom and his gang (Atwell, Rhames and Pegg) survive near death misses (misses that any normal human would not survive). This includes a motorcycle jump off a cliff that Mr. Cruise did himself (talk about taking risks for your art), risks that Tom has done for quite a few of his films (including where he went to new heights both literally and figuratively in November 2010 when he climbed the Burj Khalifa in Dubai for Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol. For Tom Cruise, all missions are possible!
