London Fashion Week welcomed a fresh wave of innovation and cultural storytelling as FJU Talents returned to Fashion Scout, spotlighting Taiwan’s most promising fashion alumni on the global stage.
Sponsored by the College of Fashion and Textiles at Fu Jen Catholic University, FJU Talents is an annual platform dedicated to strengthening the international visibility of emerging Taiwanese designers. Each year, four carefully selected alumni are given the rare opportunity to showcase their collections at one of fashion’s most prestigious platforms, bridging education, creativity, and global exposure.
This season’s cohort featured Chih-Wen Kuo, Juan-Juan Xu, Yi-Zhen Lin, and Ying Chu – each bringing their own distinct voice to the runway. From reimagined cultural references to bold technical experimentation, the collections celebrated both Taiwan’s heritage and its forward-looking creativity.

Beyond presenting cutting-edge design, the initiative nurtures a community of mentorship and collaboration, with established alumni returning to guide the next generation through intensive training and professional insight. This cyclical support ensures that FJU Talents not only launches individual careers but also strengthens Taiwan’s collective presence in the global fashion industry.
Captured through the lens of Paul Winstone, the showcase was a powerful reminder of the vital role emerging designers play in shaping the future of fashion – fearless, innovative, and unapologetically original.
