London, October 13th – The FOCUS Art Fair wrapped up its final 2024 exhibition at the renowned Saatchi Gallery in London, leaving an indelible mark on the global art scene. Founded in 2017 by Sungmin Hong and Jungwon Lee, FOCUS has steadily grown into an international platform for diverse artists, hosting over 45 exhibitions worldwide. This year’s London edition, held from October 10 to 13, pushed boundaries with its themes of sustainability, equality, and innovation, bringing together cutting-edge artists, designers, and global brands.
A key highlight was the collaboration between Roche Bobois and Chinese designer Jiang Qiong Er, unveiling the Bamboo Mood Collection. The collection’s blend of modern aesthetics with traditional Chinese design captivated attendees, making it a standout at the event. LG Electronics UK also contributed to the immersive experience, while K-pop sensation E.Dan drew major attention by debuting his first public art piece.
Prominent artist Olivier Mourao, presented by Gore Gallery, held an exclusive solo installation in the gallery’s bookstore, adding a unique dimension to the exhibition. In addition, the fair featured work by five artists and designers backed by the prestigious Sarabande Foundation, founded by Lee Alexander McQueen. Among them were Aurobouros, whose collaboration with Markus Klinko on digital portraits of stars like Kim Kardashian and Usher was a focal point. Emerging talents John Hui, Zongbo Jiang, and Lulu Wang also displayed their thought-provoking works.
In keeping with FOCUS’s core principle of equality, the fair welcomed global partners like Indonesia’s Art Moments, One East Asia, and NYC Culture Club, all dedicated to making art accessible to wider audiences.
As the last leg of the 2024 World Tour, FOCUS London cemented its status as a groundbreaking event, forging new conversations and challenging outdated perceptions in the art world. Attendees left inspired, taking with them the vision of a more inclusive, innovative future for art and culture.
