Frieze London and Frieze Masters concluded on Sunday 19th October bringing together galleries, artists, collectors, curators and institutions from around the globe for five days of major art encounters, sales and city-wide activity. Across both fairs, international audiences discovered the best of contemporary art and historic work from antiquity to the late 20th century, reinforcing London’s position as a cultural capital and a vital centre for the art market, as well as affirming art’s role in fostering dialogue and exchange.

Sales were strong across both fairs, spanning contemporary presentations at Frieze London through to antiquities and historic work at Frieze Masters. Institutional acquisitions added further weight, with highlights in the fairs’ curated sections including Focus, Echoes in the Present, Spotlight, Studio and Reflections.

This year’s editions drew 90,000 visitors from 108 countries, with record attendance from museum groups, as well as international collectors and art patrons, many of whom travelled to London for the week. Major names from art and culture attending the fairs this week included Madonna, Mick Jagger, Rick Owens, Lauren Halsey, Leonardo DiCaprio, David Hockney, Sarah Snook, Tessa Thomson, Arthur Jafa, Nick Cave, Helena Bonham-Carter, Michaela Yearwood-Dan, Bryan Cranston, Claudia Schiffer, Antony Gormley and Tadáskía.
Participants remarked on the opening day’s strong momentum and active energy, with artists, collectors, curators and other notable figures visible across both fairs and into the weekend. Serious buying was evident from the outset — from early-career presentations in Focus to major works at Frieze Masters — setting a confident tone for the week. The atmosphere reinforced the cultural vitality of Frieze Week and its hallmark spirit of engagement and collaboration.

Deutsche Bank continued its global partnership with Frieze, presenting work by multidisciplinary artist Noémie Goudalin its lounge spaces. The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to championing contemporary art and fostering dialogue across diverse communities.
