Graduate Fashion Foundation, the charity behind Graduate Fashion Week, are proud to announce that the second edition of Graduate Fashion Week International (GFWi) will be hosted in Dubai this October 2023 with a runway show on schedule at Dubai Fashion Week and a pack schedule of events supported by host institution FAD Dubai.

GFWi supports the elevation of international talent to a global audience, but also facilitates important conversations around fashion education and the future of the global fashion industry with the aim of creating positive change, while respecting cultural perspectives within all areas of the fashion industry.

Since 2011 Graduate Fashion Week has comprised of over 60 International members from some of the most respected fashion schools across the globe. These schools have been represented in the past at the prestigious annual event in London, that celebrated its 30thanniversary in 2021, with an International Catwalk and digital portfolio showcase.

With the continued growth in International Members and the ambition to reinforce a global fashion community GFWi23 in Dubai will comprise an on schedule high-profile catwalk show at 4pm on 12th October 2023 in the Dubai Fashion Week runway tents, showcasing a collective of top designers from 30 top international institutes.

Supported by host institution FAD Dubai, GFWi will see industry leaders join a schedule of panel talks, curated graduate displays and networking receptions, all hosted at the newly opened FAD Dubai campus at Dubai Design District.

With campuses across Middle East & India, FAD honors industry integrated undergraduate, post graduate & short professional courses having immersive engagement with global fashion & luxury brands. Over the coming years, the school envisions to build a strong alumni of both design and creative talents and continue contributing to the region’s fast evolving creative economy.

GFWi held annually in different global locations, brings together the very best fashion design talent from around the world to embrace diversity, cultural perspectives whilst decentralising fashion. We love the fashion capitals, but we also seek to bring fashion to aspiring centres of fashion and even new locations that otherwise might have limited opportunity to see and discuss such diversity of fashion talent.

The charity will be working closely with brands and publications to highlight the GFWi talents that are the next generation of creative talent. The wider Graduate Fashion Foundation community Global Ambassadors, Lifetime Patrons, Trustees and Directors. Our international and UK member educational institutions are be invited to attend in person or participate online across all international events.
