Burger & Beyond are bringing back their Hallowe’en themed burger this year. The TREACLE TREAT is made up of two 60 day aged Chuck & Short rib patties topped with treacle bacon, mozzarella cheese, strawberry jelly and bone marrow butter. Available from 22nd-31st October, at their new residency at pub Camden Assembly (£10). @burgerandbeyond

Alpes, the recently opened Raclette Brothers’ restaurant, will be hosting a quiz like no other on 31 October as an alternative event for Hallowe’en goers. No general knowledge needed, there will be 10 rounds of food and drink knowledge with tastings and cocktail-making challenges. Example rounds include Witch’s Brew (each team has a fondue pot in the middle, and gets to choose 5 items to mix and make the best cocktail they can); Cheesy Celebs (name the celeb in the pic and suggest a cheesy link e.g. Justin BRIEber); Design your wine (everyone will get some wine to taste and a blank bottle, it’s up to you to design the label and come up with the name, plus write your own tasting notes on the back. Best looking and closest to actual tasting notes wins the round!)

Tickets will be sold on the door, first come first serve – £5 (40 tickets available)

A 7pm start – Drinks are served throughout including a Hallowe’en themed cocktail list, and the kitchen opens at the end for people to stay and have dinner. @alpeslondon

Silo has come up with an ingenious idea to use your pumpkins after Hallowe’en – turn it into a tasty cocktail! The Paradise Pumpkin Sour is available now at Silo in Brighton, £7.50.

Silo is the UK’s first zero-waste restaurant that functions entirely without a bin, eliminating waste by working closely with local farmers to reduce packaging and foraging for ingredients. @silobrighton
