herRunway, an extension of SheBuildsBrands, will launch their signature all-female multi-designer platform this September at London Fashion Week.

As a brand marketing agency with over 10 years of experience, She Builds Brands recognises that female designers face more obstacles than their male counterparts in securing funding to grow their labels. Dedicated to bridging the gender gap, SheBuildsBrands creates a cost effective platform that allows female-identifying designers to showcase their collections in high profile settings and propel brands to new heights.

Herrunway ss19 london fashion weekherRUNWAY is not just a show, but an opportunity for creatives from across the globe to access the tools they need to succeed in the fashion ecosystem. With a mission to unapologetically create a space for female artists, herRUNWAY helps designers and fashion executives who run design houses to shine, grow, and profit.

Before hitting the catwalk, designers attend a Fashion Brand Masterclass that teaches strategies for marketing and commercial growth for female-led brands. Designers also have the opportunity to participate in a Pop-Up Shop, which grants the opportunity to sell directly to customers, gain product feedback, and secure future funding opportunities.

herRUNWAY aims to grow female-led businesses. The goal isn’t just increased media awareness, but actual and tangible opportunities to sell to buyers and the consumer public at large. herRUNWAY’s experience should encourage female-identifying designers to turn their creativity into commercial viability.

For their debut, herRUNWAY will be holding an event at Aston Martin, who earlier this year appointed the first female president in the British luxury car maker’s 105-year history. Guests can expect a luxurious fashion experience, one curated and dictated by female voices. For the SS19 season, herRUNWAY is changing gears by hosting two separate events: the runway show at Aston Martin and the after-party presentation in the Marriott Hotel, Park Lane. Designers from Malaysia, Dubai, Switzerland, Angola, Nigeria, and the UK will display feature lines at both events.

The two-event approach circles back to herRUNWAY’s core mission. The London experience expands a brand’s reach both domestically and abroad. Foreign designers can increase local esteem by showcasing at luxury locations like the Aston Martin runway show or the Park Lane event. For those female-led creative labels already domestically relevant, the international attention and prestige garnered by showing at London Fashion Week will prove incredibly valuable. Whether growing an existing audience, or catching important fashion eyes and minds for the first time, herRUNWAY hopes to validate and empower every female designer showcased at this year’s events.
