London’s only Hot Sauce Festival returns for a Christmas special across three floors of spicy fun
Traders will be selling and sampling their individual bottled hot sauces, hot chutneys and chilli jams from independent stalls. Learn about the makers, their story and what goes into their hot sauces.
Allie Behr of Hot Sauce Society says “We are so excited to bring a Christmas edition of Hot Sauce Society, our first event was filled to the brim of hot sauce lovers and we can’t wait to bring some special Christmas editions designed for Christmas dinner. We’ve got a live piano singalong, plenty of traders and everyone that comes will be supporting local businesses. You will be able to pick up totally unique sauces not available anywhere else.”
Of the 38 traders selling numerous specials the ones to keep an eye on include Brighton Hot Stuff, Hop Burns and Black – International Sauce Table, Pip’s Hot Sauce, Slow Richie’s, Wiltshire Chilli Farm, Peckham Sauce Co., Baj’s Blazin’ Hot Sauce and Pat & Pinky’s.
The market opens at 11 am and closes at 6pm, on Saturday 14th December with free entry all day for everyone. The festival will be in Brixton’s The Dogstar, Coldharbour Lane with the nearest station being Brixton Tube.
