As you add to your collection, look for discount stores, estate sales, and online swap shops. Learn to know quality when you see it. A nice silk scarf can make the outfit when worn over a dress or jacket.
Know where you’re going & dress for the event
You get the opportunity to go to an event with some pretty important people. You want to be noticed, but in a good way. If you are invited to a barbeque, dress casually. To fit in and still stand out, avoid denim or cotton. Try a trendy jumpsuit, or some nice shorts and top.
Fight the urge to wear your Prada heels. That is not the right event and you will look like you are trying too hard.
Studio to the street
The trend right now is to wear your super cool workout clothes right out of the studio and on to lunch, shopping, or to meet friends. This year Just For Kix is reporting, leggings and sports bras are still in, but they are not the same as last year’s model.
Leggings are sitting high on the waist. They are the new ⅞ length. This means they are hitting a bit above the ankle. Look for compression materials to give you the support you need. Sports bras are coming in high necks, criss-cross straps, and a variety of materials and cuts. The deal is, the women with larger breasts want to wear the same look like the smaller chested ladies. You may see two-in-one designs that give you the layered look. You can walk right out the door and on to the fun in style.
Jumpsuits, pantsuits, and animal prints
You will see a lot of the one-piece outfits this year. A cute one-piece jumper with bare shoulders is perfect. If you are more comfortable in pantsuits, go for it. Just make sure the shirt and pants are identical.
If you just cannot live without your flirty little skirts, reach for some leopard print tights. Animal print tights and fishnet tights are going to be a hot item all year.
It is not hard to look like a star if you plan it right. It is okay to copy your idols. They are just people. So, get started on your wardrobe and before you know it, you will be turning heads for all the right reasons.
