In celebraAon of the 40th anniversary of London Fashion Week, Hu Bing, China’s pioneering male supermodel, actor, and InternaAonal Ambassador for London Fashion Week, will curate the highly anAcipated “HU BING SELECTS.” This marks the ninth consecuAve year Hu Bing has served as the LFW InternaAonal Ambassador, a testament to his ongoing influence and dedicaAon to bridging Eastern and Western fashion industries. From this year onward, HU BING SELECTS will become a recurring feature at London Fashion Week, showcasing his keen eye for innovaAon and emerging talent.
With a career spanning over 30 years in fashion, film, and television, Hu Bing is not only a cultural icon but also an advocate for young designers and fashion innovaAon. Leveraging his vast social media following, with over 13 million on Weibo and 5 million on Douyin, he has conAnuously used his plaTorm to elevate the next generaAon of talent. A fixture on best-dressed lists and a regular guest at luxury events such as those hosted by Ferrari, Louis VuiXon, and Rolls-Royce, Hu Bing seamlessly blends personal style with his commitment to supporAng the fashion industry.
CONSISTENCE: A London Debut to Remember
For their London debut, CONSISTENCE, founded in 2015 by Tien Lu and FangFang, will present their first womenswear collecAon, “Useless but Fabulous.” This highly anAcipated collecAon will spotlight hidden garment elements with a modern twist, drawing from the duo’s menswear experAse. This UK debut follows successful showcases in Milan, Paris, and Shanghai and is expected to be a key milestone in their internaAonal presence.
As a married couple, Tien Lu and FangFang collaborate closely on every collecAon, blending personal and professional influences. FangFang, as both a designer and muse, plays a crucial role in shaping their aestheAc. If a piece doesn’t resonate with her, it likely won’t make it into the final collecAon. Tailoring, a signature of CONSISTENCE, is central to this collecAon, featuring horsehair canvas—a material tradiAonally used as an inner layer—on the outside of garments as a tribute to craasmanship.
Materials, Techniques, and InnovaAon
CONSISTENCE is commiXed to sustainable pracAces, transforming fabric scraps from previous producAons into accessories like headscarves, gloves, and scarves. This season, their tailored suits and trench coats incorporate structured fabrics and formalwear elements, staying true to their refined, modern aestheAc.
A standout feature of this collecAon is the use of fabrics from Scabal’s patented Treasure Box, including luxurious materials like 24-carat gold-infused fabric, as well as fluorescent pink and yellow wool—a significant feat in fabric dyeing. The designers credit Scabal for contribuAng to the uniqueness of their vibrant color paleXe, notoriously difficult to achieve on wool.

Sustainability remains at the core of CONSISTENCE’s ethos, as they encourage consumers to “buy less, choose beXer.” By reimagining leaover materials into cohesive, high-fashion accessories, the brand makes strides in reducing waste while maintaining a luxurious look.
