Contemporary womenswear brand Isabel Manns creates unique, reversible clothing with a design approach of committing to building a 100% sustainable, circular fashion label. Innovation is married with creativity, resulting in a range of timeless pieces of the highest quality.

The newly launched ‘Underwater Eden Collection’ is inspired by peaceful yet water drenched flower beds, coupled with the beauty of rain droplets falling onto petals. Isabel chose naturally flowing styles as well as fabrics so each piece falls effortlessly onto the body contours of its wearer, creating a gentle sway when in motion.

The new seasonless collection comprises of a variety of pieces that can be worn together as an outfit or combined with items from Isabel’s previous collections, intended to be worn throughout the season, creating multiple looks by simply reversing the items or styling them in different ways.

Isabel Manns values her customers when it comes to creating her pieces, with their input underpinning the inspiration for her new collection. ‘I speak to each of my customers who visit the store, seeking their feedback so I can include this in my future process. We talk about colours, print design, styles and features such as sleeve length or neckline shape.” Throughout the process of creating her new pieces, Isabel was inspired by the customers desire for specific colours such as cobalt and purple print, both of which have been incorporated in the ‘Underwater Eden Collection’, designed in her Marylebone based pop up.

All prints are hand painted by Isabel, usually inspired by nature and the English countryside in which she grew up. The style of her prints tend to be ‘fluid’ and often floral, yet for this collection Isabel has experimented with new colours such as green. ‘Green was a colour I seldom wore or painted but now it’s a best seller and one of my favourite colours!’ Her creations come to life through the use of sponge techniques to create a background, married with detailed patterns using a mixture of different sized paint brushes augmented by digital painting.

As a brand, Isabel Manns prioritises sustainability with 5 pledges including reversibility for sustainability, zero waste, made in England, sustainable materials and season-less collections. Much like the rest of her collections, Isabel has launched timeless pieces, flattering for any body shape. Trans-seasonal colours allow each piece to stand the test of time, offering multiple looks in one to take you from event to event.
