Jam Baxter continues to release some of the most eccentric, versatile and abstract rap records on earth as he drops latest single ‘VULTURE’ taken from the forthcoming album ‘TOUCHING SCENES’.

Over distorted bass, eski clicks and heavy kick drums provided by Last JapanJam Baxter provides a sinister, outlandish ode to his darker moments, taking listeners on a voyage through his songwriting. The track explores a more unsettling side of hedonism and is teamed with an ominous, fast paced video to match. The visuals were shot over a single vodka fuelled night in central Saigon while Baxter was touring Vietnam, running from winding side streets to endless stairwells, dive bars and rooftops until sunrise.
Moving in to what will be his 5th LP release, ‘TOUCHING SCENES’ Jam Baxter is a trailblazer that has successfully picked up speed and ferocity with each drop. VULTURE is the second taste of the 16-track LP so far and follows the recent release of SALIVA, which has clocked over 50k views on YouTube, and reeled in support from Spotify as they added it to the UK Rap playlist, seeing monthly listens soar to nearly 60k per month. The project also features contributions from various friends of his including Rag’n’Bone Man, Kate Tempest,  Stinkin Slumrok, OG Rootz FKA Durrty Goodz and Rhi, coupled with production from Chemo, GhostTown, Last Japan, Sumgii and Sam Zircon.
Inspired by his semi nomadic lifestyle, often leaving London on a whim for a far flung tropical region to craft the next psychedelic opus and sample the local liquor, his latest body of work was written and recorded with Chemo in Bangkok, and as seen with the visuals, his travels are documented adding further depth to all aspects that make Jam Baxter.

“Literally everything is funny. There is a beautiful surreal glow to the most outwardly grey and mundane of scenes. Some people just don’t get that. I sometimes suspect I might be starring in a cartoon watched by millions of giant oafish children.” – Jam Baxter
