LONDON, UK – In a vibrant spectacle at London Fashion Week, Amsterdam-based designer JimmyPaul unveiled his Autumn/Winter 2026 collection, “Roam,” a groundbreaking collaboration with Pokémon. A Dream Come True: JimmyPaul’s Vision
JimmyPaul expressed immense gratitude for the opportunity to work with Pokémon, calling it “an honour and privilege” and “a dream come true.” His lifelong connection to Pokémon has been translated into a fashion language characterized by sculptural silhouettes, playful textures, and fearless color stories, bringing character design into three dimensions.

“Roam”: Ten Worlds, Thirty Favorites
The “Roam” collection is not merely a display of garments but a narrative woven through 10 distinct “worlds,” each inspired by various Pokémon types, personalities, and visual cues. The designer’s personal universe is rooted in 30 favorite Pokémon, transforming their traits into tactile, emotional, and expressive pieces. This approach emphasizes storytelling, transformation, and identity-play, moving beyond conventional costume design.
From Catwalk to Closet: The Difuzed Partnership
Complementing the runway show, a JimmyPaul × Pokémon product range, developed in partnership with long-time licensee Difuzed, will bridge the gap between high fashion and everyday wear. This collection aims to translate key visuals from the show into wearable, consumer-facing pieces, allowing fans to embrace the narrative beyond the show space.
A Collaboration Built on Real Feeling and Sustainability
The partnership is described as a collision of creativity, fun, and adventure, honoring Pokémon’s legacy while making it relevant on a global fashion stage. Beyond the Pokémon theme, “Roam” draws inspiration from diverse references, including Indonesian heritage, Japanese workwear, 90s surf culture, car racing, 80s postmodernism, and horror cinema. The collection also champions sustainability, with most looks crafted from deadstock fabrics, vintage materials, and reworked textiles from previous collections, reinforcing a narrative of reinvention and individuality.
