Josh, can you tell us about your recent projects?

JB: I’m really fortunate that it’s been a busy last couple of years for me. I came off a recurring role that I loved in Season 3 of ‘Find Me In Paris’ and then into a really fun comedy role in ‘Pan Tau’ (on Amazon Pash). I was busy filming Warhunt in Latvia with Mickey Rourke, Robert Knepper and Jackson Rathbone when covid hit and in fact we were one of the only productions still underway but thankfully we got it done! Things slowed down for the whole industry but I kept busy with ‘The Machines That Built America’ (History Channel) playing Henry Ford, and then got to work with Dean Cain in ‘The Phantom Warrior’. Just recently I started filming for ‘Angels Fallen 2: Warriors of Peace’ in Georgia which was such an interesting country to visit – a genuine bridge between Europe and Asia. Next stop is Los Angeles, where the shoot is due to continue.

Which Film and TV projects are you most proud of?

JB: Although it was a little while ago, I am still really proud of having been a part of ‘Loving Vincent’. It was a ground-breaking project and a really beautiful film. It was extra special that it was nominated at the Oscars, BAFTAs and Golden Globes. It was also really special for me to have a recurring role in ‘Find Me In Paris’. It’s a show with a huge audience all over the world and it felt so good to be involved in it. The whole cast and crew had been together for a few years and I was made to feel really welcome.

Who have you worked with so far in your acting career?

JB: I am so lucky to have worked with some wonderful actors and directors so far. I love the teamwork element of filmmaking and it really is the result of so many people coming together and adding their expertise. In terms of actors, I have been fortunate to work with really talented people like Douglas Booth, Robert Knepper, Jackson Rathbone, Jessica Lord, Dean Cain and one of the biggest stars in Indonesia, Arifin Putra. I’ll be working with Denise Richards next month which I’m really looking forward to. She’s such a big star so I’m excited to be sharing the screen with her and to learn from her.

What is your advice for actors that helped you in your successful career?

JB: There is not just one route to success despite what some people might tell you. I think each actor has to discover their own path both in terms of their training and the work they end up doing. I think the basic tenets are still the same though – work hard, treat other people well, surround yourself with good people and also stick up for yourself in a business where sometimes you can’t rely on anyone else to do that for you.

Any upcoming projects that we need to watch for?

JB: The main focus for me now is ‘Angels Fallen 2: Warriors of Peace’. which is being directed by Ali Zamani. We still have quite a bit of filming to do and I can’t wait to get back into the shoot. The cast and crew are just fantastic so I’m looking forward to seeing them all again. It will be set for a 2023 release so exciting times ahead!
