9-year-old Asia Child Model Star Kathy Tan Her Lin
Kathy Tan Her Lin, Malaysian mixed Chinese and Vietnamese, known as the first Asian child model to receive the coveted ICON Award at just 8 years old, the highest accolade achievable in Southeast Asia’s child modeling industry. The Award was presented to her by the General Secretary of Tourism Malaysia, YBhg.Tuan Hj Zulkifli through Malaysia Fashion, Modeling & Pageant Awards (MFMPA) organized by MMK in January 2021.
The young Icon Kathy Tan Her Lin was also earlier known as Tiny Miss World 2018 (Little Miss World) with outstanding appearances on several magazine covers since two years old, catwalk for several international fashion weeks some fabulous brands Kenzo Kids, Emilio Pucci Junior, Lanvin Paris Junior, Young Versace, Moschino Kids and presented as the face of L’OFFICIEL Kids luxury magazine globally.
Her talent is not just modelling and catwalk. Kathy plays piano, singing, dance K-Pop, swim mermaid, and more…. As winner Olympia Laurel Gold Medal for singing talent category at Little Miss World 2018 in Greece, from 7 years old Kathy sing and act and starring in some music video (MV) covers produced by her mother: A Million Dreams, Girl On Fire, Xue Mao Jiao…. and the latest cover song “You Belong With Me” which her voice recorded 7 years old and her image filming at 9 years old to celebrate her birthday in May 2021.

From 2019 recorded voice until 2021 filming, the 9-years-old Icon Kathy Tan Her Lin had confidential casting hundreds profiles of child model through some agents and finally choose from Face of Asia Junior 2021 Shining Star 1st runner-up winner Reymi Tham Ka Hoong (14 years old) and Rising Star 2nd runner up winner Leiya Lim (10 years old) to be feature roles in her own music video (MV) project.
