Kolchagov Barba is pleased to announce the venue chosen to showcase their new Spring/Summer 2019 collection will be the London’s ME Hotel on the Strand – The event will take place on Sunday 16th September 2018 at 8pm as part of London Fashion Week 2018.
Kolchagov Barba is a demi couture label which sees dresses as a unique piece of jewellery cast to decorate, enhance and embrace women’s bodies, combining classic with modern fashion into glamorous and sophisticated designs; the label gives a new meaning of luxury.
The new Spring/Summer 2019 collection takes inspiration from the fragile aspects of our life and our surroundings – where fragility, strength and beauty cohabit.
Through the bold use of colours combined with delicate and luxurious fabrics, the Fragile Collection wants to represent the fine line between these contrasting aspects of our lives. Romantic lines and corset gowns are mixed with sensual babydoll dresses – opposing yet binding the collection.
For the first time Kolchagov Barba this season’s designs will also be shown on a unique outdoor catwalk, fully accessible to the public. Location 336-337 Strand, London WC2R 1HA.
Special guest catwalk model for this collection will be, broadcaster and presenter Vick Hope. Currently presenting the Capital FM Breakfast show and hosting 4Music Trending Live and Box Fresh. Making waves in the multi-platform world of broadcast, Vick is also a mainstay reporter for ITN. In 2018 Vick joined the Voice and The Voice Kids as well as fronting Sky One’s Carnage. Currently Vick is one of the Strictly Come Dancing contestants.
For Kolchagov Barba SS19 finale – both designers and models worn a #OrdinaryHeroes t-shirt portraying, yet again another contrast, between the high fashion and the universal values of humility and solidarity, a very strong message which represent everyone who wants to fight indifference through the power of simplicity.
Over 100 #OrdinaryHeroes t-shirt have been donated to the VIP guests of the show.
