VENICE IMMERSIVE at the 79th Venice International Film Festival to present 43 Projects from 19 countries / 32 Worlds in the Worlds Gallery @ LAZZARETTO VECCHIO

    FRAMERATE: Pulse of the Earth

This spectacular data-driven work, created over the course of two years and utilizing a novel form of 3D time-lapse cinema, puts viewers nose to nose with climate change. There’s no escaping the dire and immediate shifts occurring in the landscape before them, where cliffs crumble and immense forces eradicate existence. Developed by the ever-impressive ScanLAB Projects, FRAMERATE’s hypnotic imagery turns the audience into witnesses of their own behavior—of society’s impact on the environment—and summons an urgency that is sure to shake perspectives.

    FIGHT BACK

2020 Grand Prize Winner, Writer and Director Celine Tricart, returns this year with FIGHT BACK, “a virtual reality experience that offers a real crash course in self-defense by utilizing the unmatched potential of VR as a tool for learning and developing muscle memory,” world premiering August 30.
FIGHT BACK is an imaginative journey; read on for the synopsis:
A long time ago, the First Star defeated Darkness. But today, the Shadows have come back and stars have disappeared from the skies once again. As a newborn star, you have to rescue your sisters, and liberate them from darkness. With their help, you’ll reveal your incredible potential and learn the secrets of light and shadows Together as One.
