This week, a new chapter in London`s dance music history begins as Labyrinth on the Thames lands in the capital. The new series will transform the iconic Old Royal Naval College into a totally sold-out, open-air celebration overlooking the River Thames. Taking place on 31st July, 1st, 2nd, 8th, 9th, 10th August, Labyrinth on the Thames promises a unique immersion of sound, light and art in one of London`s most beautiful and unmissable landmarks. Black Coffee will headline the opening two nights of the series, on 31st July and 1st August, becoming the first DJ to headline the venue. These dates sold out in minutes, and will be Black Coffee`s only London shows this summer. With support from Carlita, Henrik Schwarz (Live) and Meera on 31st July, and Maz and Manoo B2B Kiona Kraft on 1st August, this is one of the hottest tickets of the year, and not to be missed.
Empire of the Sun take to the stage on Saturday 2nd August, as they bring their cinematic live show to the Thames marking their first UK show in over 6 years. Known for their mesmerising visuals and genre-defying hits, they promise a dreamlike evening in a setting unlike any other. The specially selected artists chosen to set the stage for Empire of the Sun are Sofia Kourtesis, Roi Turbo and Los Eclipses. Solomun takes the reins on Friday 8th August for an extended five-hour set. Revered for his deep entrancing journeys behind the decks, this is set to be a festival highlight for fans of melodic house and techno.
FISHER is in town on Saturday 9th August, bringing his electric energy and infectious tech-house tracks, set to light up the venue for one of the biggest parties of the summer. The show features support from a stacked line up including Loco Dice, Cole Knight, LF System, Little Fritter and Malix. Anjunadeep Open Air closes the series on Sunday 10th August – a full-day showcase from the London-based independent label. With a carefully curated selection of label favourites and rising talent, this final show promises to close out the festival in unforgettable style.
