Today, Labyrinth Events, the UK’s pioneering independent promoter synonymous with staging cutting-edge live music experiences in unique spaces, is delighted to confirm that Labyrinth on the Thames will return to London this summer. The 2026 series will take place across the first three weekends of August and will once again transform the iconic Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich into a spectacular open-air celebration through pioneering sound, world-class production and talent, set against London’s city skyline.

The first headline announcement will be revealed tomorrow at 12pm.
Following a huge, award-nominated debut, Labyrinth on the Thames made history in 2025, selling over 57,000 tickets instantly across six sold-out dates to become the largest outdoor dance music series ever staged in Greenwich. Last summer’s highlights included Black Coffee’s historic only UK headline shows; Empire of the Sun’s first live London performance in six years; a five-hour sunset-to-night set from Solomun; a summer-defining party with FISHER; and Anjunadeep Open Air, a full-day showcase that transformed the 17th-century riverside landmark into a truly unforgettable global dance destination.
Shortlisted for Best Venue Hire Initiative by the Cultural Enterprise Awards 2026 and committed to preserving heritage in a way that keeps it alive, relevant and vibrant, Labyrinth continues to evolve the series for music fans, guided by five core pledges: world-class production, reimagining the historic, best-in-class talent, putting community at the heart, and day-to-night dancing overlooking the Thames.
Nick Castleman, Co-Founder of Labyrinth Events, said:
“Labyrinth on the Thames was born from a desire to work in true partnership with the Old Royal Naval College, as we strive to reimagine this extraordinary space for new and future audiences. We’re incredibly excited to return to the venue this summer, and our main focus is on bettering the experience year on year for the fans, artists, stakeholders and partners who all touch the series.”
Kate Miners, Director of Public Engagement and Commercial at the Old Royal Naval College, added:
“We’re thrilled to be bringing Labyrinth on the Thames back to our iconic riverside setting this summer. Together, we’ll be transforming our UNESCO World Heritage Site into a vibrant, culturally rich destination—welcoming trailblazing electronic acts to the stage—and leading the charge in reimagining what a heritage site can be as we celebrate 300 years of the Painted Hall. As a charity, events like this play a vital role in supporting our mission: to conserve these magnificent buildings and to educate and welcome new audiences for years to come.”
As part of the 2026 series, Labyrinth on the Thames continues to evolve the audience experience, placing renewed emphasis on heightened production and enhanced VIP offerings that unlock access to the most special moments of each show. Marking the next chapter in London’s modern dance music history, a range of VIP packages will be available, including exclusive access to the Painted Hall as the Old Royal Naval College celebrates 300 years since its completion. Regarded as the jewel of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Painted Hall is one of Europe’s greatest Baroque interiors, offering guests a rare and unforgettable cultural experience alongside world-class music.
Renowned for its boundary-pushing approach to sound and spectacle, the series’ lighting is produced by High Scream, the visionary creative team behind some of the world’s most globally recognised live productions, including the 2024 Paris Olympic Closing Ceremony and residencies in Ibiza. Their signature fusion of cutting-edge technology and immersive design continues to redefine what is possible within a historic setting, setting a new benchmark for large-scale open-air events in London.
Romain Pissenem, Founder of High Scream, said:
“We’re proud to be involved with Labyrinth on the Thames again in 2026. Every year the team pushes the boundaries of what’s possible, and this year we’re creating a production that truly complements the beauty of the venue while giving fans an unforgettable experience.”
