She’s the quirky little firecracker from Manchester who’s been creeping up the sidelines of the scene for a hot minute but now Lady Ice is turning things up to 100 and is jumping straight in to the centre of the ring with the release of her first single entitled ‘Do That For’ from her forthcoming EP ‘Slush’.
Having attacked 2018 with gusto, Lady Ice rallied in support from Toddla T and Annie Mac, for whom she dropped a firing grime freestyle over the iconic ‘Don’t Stop Til You Get Enough’ by Michael Jackson. Her March video release for ‘Who’s Got It Now’ premiered with MixMag, she received BBC Introducing support when her track ‘Suberb’ was playlisted at BBC Radio 1Xtra and her collaboration on ‘Head Top’ with J-Fresh dropped exclusively via Link Up TV. But Ice has been perfecting her skills and building her name on the underground for a considerable amount of time. Relaying a bubbly, bodacious and bewitching flow she has sparred against a multitude of beats in a wave of exemplary freestyles including Tim Westwood’s Crib Session, P110 and SBTV’s Warm Up Sessions.
Making its debut via Link Up TV, ‘Do That For’ is one majorly cold offering from Lady Ice.
