This week at London Fashion Week, Leblon London, led by designer Yane Ferreira, unveiled its much-anticipated Spring/Summer 2025 collection, inspired by the iconic sunsets of Arpoador in Rio. The collection, consisting of 30 looks, captured the essence of the golden hour with a dynamic fusion of bright colours, flowing fabrics, and beachside elegance.
Leblon London’s latest collection embraced a palette reminiscent of a sun-kissed horizon, featuring rich oranges, golden yellows, lilacs and ocean blues. Silhouettes were flowing and organic, evoking the natural beauty of Rio’s landscape. Lightweight soft silks, and sheer layers formed the basis of the collection, while intricate printed silk sequins added a touch of luxury. Standout pieces included a shimmering sunset-hued chiffon maxi dress and a beautiful tailored suit with a surprising open back in delicate sea blue.
Yane drew inspiration from her experiences at Arpoador, a location known for its iconic sunsets over the Atlantic Ocean. “This collection celebrates nature’s beauty—especially the fleeting moments before dusk when the sky transforms into a canvas of bold, unpredictable hues.” she shared. Yane’s designs blended the energy and spontaneity of nature with the precision and sophistication of urban fashion, bringing together both worlds in a harmonious balance.
Widely praised by fashion insiders, the collection masterfully captured Rio’s essence while preserving the urban sophistication and edge of London fashion. Social media buzzed with praise for Yane’s interpretation of Rio’s beauty, with influencers and fashion bloggers lauding the collection’s effortless blend of bold colours and sophisticated designs. The full collection is available for viewing by appointment at Leblon London’s official London showroom from September 18, 2024. Pieces will be available for pre-order starting October 1, 2024.
